SUPPORT AND PERSONAL CARE
How often is my family member changed and washed?
Can I feed him/her?
He/she needs a haircut… how do I do it?
ASA or OSS staff takes care of your family member by providing all their personal care and assistance needs. They help him/her to eat, providing food and drinks. If they are unable to do this themselves, they assist them with personal hygiene and self-care. If you want to take your family member for a short walk, usually in a wheelchair, ask the staff for permission, as there may have been changes in the care plan.
Again, don’t worry, because someone is there to look after your loved one: changing him/her if necessary, washing him/her and feeding him/her every day.
Being clean, tidy and neat in appearance will make him/her feel good because it stimulates self-confidence and a good mood. For this reason, there is a HAIRDRESSER at the facility who provides haircuts and hair styling, receiving guests in a dedicated and well-equipped environment.
If you would like to accompany your family member to the bathroom, please contact the staff since it is professionally competent to meet the needs of your loved one. Among the included services you will also find the LAUNDRY service, where you can deliver your family member’s clothes whenever necessary or desired. The staff present will seal them to avoid any loss.
